Triangle Area Landscaping Project
Published: 23 November 2021
Dear Resident,
We are pleased to share that the landscaping project at the Triangle area will commence over the coming few weeks and will be done in phases. This is the area that corners Billingshurst Road and Old Guildford Road.
This project was delayed from last year but has been funded by CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) funds linked to the new developments in the village.
The project involves replacement of the rear hedgerow, introduction of a Wildflower area and a change to the walled planted area at the point of the triangle. The rear, large hedgerow will be fully removed and replaced with Photinia Red Robin’s which will grow in time to create a new border. Overhanging vegetation will also be taken back to the footpath borders for better footpath access.
We will share further updates on our Website and Facebook page, however, please note that the initial phase will mean Contractors closing the small path at the top end of the area, and parking equipment nearby on the roadside. This may mean an alternative pedestrian route or parking for a couple of days.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. If you have any further questions or queries, please do contact the Clerk as above, by phone or email.
Thank you,
Lucinda & Olivia (Officers, on behalf of BBHPC)
