His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh

Broadbridge Heath Parish Council has, with great sadness, received an announcement from the Lord Lieutenant’s Office regarding the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on 9 April 2021.

The Parish Council joins the nation in expressing its deep sadness at this time, as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service given by Prince Philip. Our thoughts are with Her Majesty the Queen and her family.

 The funeral will be broadcast, including a minute's silence at 3pm on Saturday 17th April 2021 and The Palace recommends communities mark this at home. 

The National Book of Condolence is available at www.royal.uk and will be closed at 8am on Sunday 18th April 2021.
