Coronavirus: Business Support Grants

In response to the impact that local and national COVID-19 restrictions have had on the economy, the Government has provided Horsham District Council grant funding to help businesses which have been most affected.

Broadbridge Heath Parish Council would like to draw local business owners’ attention to these business support grant schemes.

The District Council has received several sums from Central Government and although a few businesses have applied, we would like to alert you to these grants available and encourage Broadbridge Heath residents to investigate this further and share with local friends, neighbours, and business owners.

These grants are for businesses to alleviate, in part, the financial issues caused by various lockdowns and shutdown measures because of the pandemic.

There are grants available for business rate payers and discretionary grants available for businesses that are non-business rate payers. There are many options to look at and apply for, for businesses affected by the various Government measures associated with COVID.

There are currently 7 schemes available, which includes the following 2 schemes,

which may be applicable to your business:

Ø Additional Restrictions Grant (Discretionary Scheme)

Ø Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open) - businesses in hospitality, accommodation and leisure affected by Tier restrictions.

Full details can be found on Horsham District Councils Website, Coronavirus, Coronavirus Business Support Grants.

The link is detailed below and can be found on our website page.

BBHPC working with HDC would really encourage our residents to investigate these schemes further to see if your business can benefit from a grant.
