Union Flag

When the village flagpole was installed in 2018, the Parish Council created a Flagpole Policy, which determined when flags would be flown, for instance, on the Queen’s birthday, St. George’s Day, Remembrance Sunday.

In the light of the present Covid-19 situation, it has been decided to fly the Union Flag constantly, so that, in some small way, it may help to lift spirits, promote community solidarity, and encourage the great British tradition of ‘Keep Calm and Carry On'.
