Meetings - Agendas & Minutes 2010
Parish Council meetings are generally held at 8.00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month (except when bank holidays are involved, or an alternative date is required). Please check the meeting schedule below, there are a few meetings scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month this year.
The Recreation Committee meet four or five times a year.
The Planning Committee meet when there are applications to consider; these meetings can start at 7.30pm or 8.00pm depending on other scheduled meetings for that evening.
The Finance & Establishment Committee meet 3 times a year.
The Annual Parish Meeting is held in between 1 March and 31 May each year, this year it will be held on Monday April 19th 2010. Click here for the draft minutes and the Chairmans report
The Annual Council Meeting is held in May where the Chairman and Committees are appointed, this year because of the bank holiday the meeting will be on Wednesday 5th May 2010.
There are no meetings during August, except for Planning as necessary.

All Parish Council meetings and Committee meetings :
- include a public session at the beginning of the meeting (at 8.00 pm, 7.30 pm for Planning where applicable, for up to 15 minutes), during which any local resident and the press has a right to attend and may address the Council on relevant issues. A warm welcome is extended to all parishioners of Broadbridge Heath. (If you wish to speak to the Council during the public session, no notice is required: you may simply turn up at the appropriate time. It would, however, assist the Council in preparing for the issue you wish to raise, if you were able to advise the Clerk in advance.)
- are open to the public, who may listen to the Council's discussions (but may not participate, except by invitation). (If you merely wish to sit in on the Council meeting, please simply turn up at any time during the meeting.) (Exceptionally, discussion of particular agenda items involving confidential issues may be closed to the press and public. These will normally be placed towards the end of the agenda.)
Parish Council and Committee meetings are held in the St. John's Community Hall (unless otherwise advertised).
The agenda for each meeting will be provided against the meeting date on the Meetings Schedule below (click on the 'Agenda' link against the meeting). The agenda will be posted at least 3 working days prior to the meeting on the Parish Council Notice Boards at the Village Centre and at the One Stop shop.
In order to make the minutes available to you as early as possible, all minutes are published in draft format, subject to approval at the next meeting of the Parish Council. Any changes from the draft minutes will be noted toward the beginning of the minutes of the following full Parish Council meeting (in the item " Approval of Minutes").
