Broadbridge Heath Parish Council has an active Planning Committee which responds promptly to local planning applications.
The Local Development Committee works on the areas of strategic planning, such as the Local Development Framework, the South East Plan and any other strategic planning issues.
The Parish Council welcomes community involvement in planning and encourages the public to attend committee meetings. Planning Meetings are scheduled when there are applications to consider. Please refer to the 'Agendas' page to establish when an application is being considered by the Parish Council.

The South-East Plan (SEERA)
Updated 9th September 2009
The South-East Plan has been adopted. Over the period 2006 to 2026, the South-East Plan requires the provision of 13,000 new homes across Horsham District.

Tree Preservation Orders - TPOs
For details of trees with Tree Preservation Orders, please contact the Parish Clerk. The Parish Council has an up to date map of trees with TPOs, or review the attached list January 2008 here
If you see surgery being carried out to a tree that you suspect has a TPO, please contact the Parish Clerk immediately or the Arboriculturalist at Horsham District Council - Will Jones on 01403 215515.
The Parish Council relies on the vigilance of members of the public to preserve our protected trees.
